What is Literature?
What is literature? Novels, stories, plays, essays, newspaper articles, songs, jokes, slogans, one-liners written at the back of cars, autos and trucks, graffiti, Facebook/ Orkut/ Twitter status updates, labels on commercial products...? Have fun commenting on this one... :D

ReplyDeleteWhat about a funny name I give to a friend? Is that literary? It most definitely is 'creative'. Can you think of any other examples?
like punch lines or ads they are also in some way literary.few words bt hav a big meaning like "we care" or "impossible is nothing" these lines catch our attention and even forces us to think...........

literature is everywhere around us...it is fiction but still based on realities of our times...be it epics like mahabharata or be it twilight series.one is mythological n othr fantacy yet they r based on people. take newspaper for example and specialy the editorials,they are filled with different points of veiw of great ppl on ongoing politics as well as life of a common man.
